Ver algunos miembros de la delegación de la Conferencia de ONGIS en Varsovia

Apertura por el Vicerector de la Universidad de Varsovia que situó a Polonia en el corazón de Europa.

El Ministro de Asuntos Exteriores de Polonia puso en perspectiva la situación de hoy con respecto a la historia reciente de su país, sobre un fondo de vida asociativa de la que Solidarnosc era una forma emblemática.

Recordó la adhesión de su país al CoE a la UE subrayando su colaboración con lasONGIs y el CEDH (Convenio Europeo de Derechos Humanos).

La elección del tema de esta Conferencia internacional: lugar y papel de las ONGIs en el Consejo de Europa era una continuación de la Conferencia de 2005 que logró la adopción del estátus partipativo otorgado a las ONGIs, permitiendo así desarrollar la unidad y una visión humanista de la vida en Europa lo que invita a una eficaz cooperación.

Se trataba de hacer una evaluación, con perspectiva de futuro, como hacen otras instituciones internacionales (la ONU por ejemplo).

El ministro observó la buena marcha de la Conferencia de ONGIs del Consejo de Europa, que él apoya, impulsada por sus 300 ONGIs con su actual presidenta, la Sra. Rurka.

I suggest you spread the information around your member groups so that the specialists in specific matters obtain the information and can contribute to the INGO Conference and I think it would be great if EN-RE's representative's was a younger more dynamic person than myself.

Former member of EN-RE and 8^th May Movement, Gisela Hoeve, was at the Conference with Mary McHugh as representatives of Andante. Gisela asked me to send you her best wishes. Her last EN-RE meeting was Dachau.

Este informe es bastante largo y detallado pero no estáis obligadxs a leerlo todo. Lo acabo de subir a la página web de la Red Europea Iglesia por la Libertad, donde ya estaban las versiones del informe en inglés y francés, ya que estos idiomas son los oficiales del Consejo de Europa, al que está acreditado EN-RE bajo sus nombres Réseau Européen Églises et Libertés y European Network Church on the Move.

En las versiones en inglés y francés he copiado documentos de la sesión de primavera de 2019 en dichos idiomas pero en la mayoria de los casos no habría documentos equivalentes en español así que ofrezco a los lectores de este informe en español, la opción de leerlos en uno de los dos idiomas oficiales.

El objetivo de escribir el informe es para que lxs lectores lo difunden entre los grupos miembros de nuestra ONGI y en la sociedad europea en géneral para un mayor conocimiento del funcionamiento de la Conferencia de ONGIs. Al mismo tiempo, pienso que sería bueno que me sustituyera una persona más jóven y dinámica para ocupar mi puesto de secretario general y representante de EN-RE en el Consejo de Europa.

Gisela Hoeve, antigua afiliada del Movimiento holandés del Ocho de Mayo que pertenecía a EN-RE, acompañó a Mary McHugh a las sesión de primavera, como representantes de Andante, el movimiento de las mujeres católica europeas. Opening by the Vice Rector of Warsaw University, who placed Poland at the heart of Europe.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland put into perspective the situation of today with the recent history of his country, on a 
background of associative life of which Solidarnosc was an emblematic form.
He recalled his country's accession to the CoE and then to the EU stressing its collaboration with the INGOs and the ECHR
(European Court of Human Rights).
The choice of the theme of this Conference was specific: The Place and Role of INGOs in the CoE; it follows the 2005 Conference 
which led to the adoption of the participatory status granted to INGOs, thus allowing the development of unity, a humanistic vision
of life in Europe, inviting effective collaboration.
It is a question of taking stock and looking ahead like other international institutions (the UN, for example).
He noted the good conduct of the Conference of INGOs of the CoE, which he supported, with its 300 INGOs and its current 
President, Mrs Rurka.

How to improve relations with INGOs?

A la messe du dimanche 10 février 2019, avec la participation de l’ONG espagnol APROMAR, que notre communauté de base* accompagne, et avec la présence d’une douzaine de ancien.ne.s détenu.e.s, nous ont informé que le système des prisons espagnol, en ce moment, ne prépare pas les détenu.e.s pour leur rentrée dans la société, transgressant ainsi les Recommandations CM/Rec(2006)2 et CM(2005)163-add.

The work of accredited INGOs in the Conference of INGOs is two-fold: On the one hand, we work together with other INGOs to improve social cohesion and Human Rights in Europe and the world and, on the other hand, we work in our own member States to communicate the work of the Council of Europe and transfer to the Conference of INGOs first hand information available to us.

At church on Sunday 10^th February 2019, the Spanish NGO APROMAR, which our grassroots community* supports, was present with a dozen former prison inmates. We were informed that the Spanish jail system, at present, has no facilities for preparing prisoners for their return to society, and thus contravenes Recommendations CM/Rec(2006)2 and CM(2005)163-add:
